'Sunday Madness'
The Louth Storm Basketball Club host a monthly basketball clinic for junior players from Louth and Grimsby. The 'Sunday Madness' provides up and coming basketball players with an opportunity to play a real life basketball game with referees, rules, scoring systems and coaches. SUMMER CAMP WENT DOWN A 'STORM'
The Louth Storm coaching staff ran a 3 day summer camp for the local children of Louth and was a HUGE hit. The camp attracted 25 players who trained for 3 hours a day, players were coached key skills for the game of basketball. The project was such a success that the Storm committee will look to run more in months to come. The last day was competition day, all star match and a BBQ - fun times was had by all. We hope to see these faces on Monday 5th September when the Under 13 training starts up again. WELL DONE TO EVERYBODY
FIRST UNDER 13'S MATCH v GRIMSBY
Louth Storm Under 13's hosted a local team from Grimsby in what would be the first of many friendly matches. The Storm won the game but the atmosphere was outstanding, screaming parents supporting their children from the sideline made the event more fun!! It was a great experience for all players and we hope everyone will support these games in weeks to come. Well done to all players!!
